Breathable Activewear – Vent Technology Collection

"Breathable" gets used on every activewear label. Here's what it actually means on our Vent pieces: mesh panels placed at the areas that overheat fastest during training -- under the arms, across the back, behind the knee. That's combined with a moisture-wicking base fabric that pulls sweat to the surface to evaporate, rather than pool against your skin. You'll find Vent-technology pieces across our range -- our men's shorts and men's joggers both carry Vent styles built on this same fabric logic.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Two separate mechanisms get lumped under that word. Moisture-wicking is fabric that pulls sweat away from skin to the surface where it can evaporate. Ventilation is mesh panels or weave patterns that let air actually pass through the fabric. Vent technology pieces use both together -- wicking alone still traps heat if there's no airflow to evaporate the moisture.
At the body's highest heat-output zones during exercise -- underarms, upper back, and behind the knee are the most effective placements. That's where sweat production and movement friction are both highest. Mesh placed purely for looks, like side panels, helps less than mesh at these specific zones.
The base yarn is similar, but the construction differs. Vent pieces use a tighter wicking weave in the main body combined with an open mesh weave at heat zones, rather than one uniform fabric throughout. Standard polyester activewear is usually a single fabric type, which wicks moisture but doesn't ventilate as actively.
It's a cross-collection fabric feature rather than a single product line. Our men's shorts and men's joggers ranges both carry Vent-panelled styles alongside their standard fabric options -- look for "Vent" in the product name within either collection.
